My very first Posting for my life in the "Country"

God Bless and Hello to ALL,

Well Dale and I are in the throws of moving to East Texas to a farm. We are going on a new adventure in life. God has closed all the doors here and opened many others in their place. I am looking forward to "peace" and the sound of cattle. I will be a Nanny to a young family; I was trying to get away from this and try something new; but as always God knows best for me. I am excited about the new family. I have to share with you that you don't always get to know how God has used you in other people's lives. And if you are blessed to find out it can "blow" you away. I was one such blessed person; for 30+yrs. I have been a Nanny to some incredible kids and parents alike. It was not until this move that I was blessed to realize how God used me in all their lives. I have cried all week for joy; because I got to hear how these special people felt about having me in their lives for so long. Each child expressed their love for God; and each parent expressed their joy in seeing how their children love God. How I cried for joy. Please keep the "kids" and many others in Prayer in Nashville . Our Son is one of the ones that is there. Also remember those who are in the midst of graduation and all that goes with this. Those of you who have Seniors my prayers are with you; now your child will take on new wings; they will soar even higher and try "life" as you never thought possible. So hold on to your hearts as they begin to try and maybe "fall", "fail", or take on what ever life experiences bring their way. Let them find their own footing in life. Moms and Dads alike; it will be hard to not want to go and "save" them. Don't; let them come to you; then listen to them. Teach them how to figure things out on their own. Let them know about the "mistakes" you made when you were their age. Share, let them see that side of your life. It will build bridges. And not all those bridges are concrete; some will need to be rebuilt. Remember this is their life; and once again open your arms and release them back to the one who allowed us to have them for awhile. May God Bless each of you.

Blessings,

Karen
